Voting

The vote is in my friends. The question was "What are your favorite embellishments when making a card." Well Ribbon has it hands down with Gems following close behind.
Thank you for your votes and please keep an eye out so you can take part in my next pole.
Ok, I finally found someone who found someone who figured it out!! For all of us with the little dollar stamps that want them orginized neatly into groups and also to be able to view them in groups. Here is the answer, BASEBALL CARD SLEEVES.
Can you believe it? My friend Shelly brought her stamps in for me to look at. I was so impressed at how easy they were to transport and to view. My friend Dillie and I have been pondering this for a few months now, trying to figure out the best way orginize and view our stamps. So I'm off to find some baseball card sleeves and a three ring binder. I can't wait to get mine orginized!

Cards for class on January 31, 2009

I know I said my second class of 2009 would be a technique class, but I decided in order for you to have plenty of time to get your cards in the mail I would do the Valentine cards on the 31st of January and a technique class on the 7th of February.

So here they are our Valentine Card Cluster Class. We will be making five of each card, you will be taking home ten cards in all.

The first card is on black card stock, with white script stamped on it, a red tree and red hearts cut with a die cut. Your sentiment is stamped inside. This card turned out beautiful, I love the colors together. If your wondering how you will write on your cards don't. Cheryl has ordered some white pigment pens and they should be in before class, so keep an eye out for her email letting you know they have come in.

Our second card is chocolate card stock with a piece of printed card stock with a ribbon tied on it and a heart from one of the die cuts from the shoppe. The heart has been run through the Cuttlebug to make the dots dimensional and a sentiment has been stamped on the front.

Here is a close up of the heart and it's demensions.
These cards were too fun, I can't wait to share them with you in class. See you there.

Cards for class on January 17, 2006

Here are the cards for my first card class of 2009 WOOHOO!

Our first cards of the year will give us a head start on all the Birthdays we have to prepare for. You will need to bring your birthday list so you can customize your cards to fit your spacific friend or loved one. I guess I made this card for myself, May 6th is my birthdate. I wanted to give you an idea of how your completed card will look, with your months and dates stamped on the front of your cards.
The next card is all male, as you can see the animals, the colors and the ebellishments all say this card is for the guys in your life. I wanted us to be ahead on guy cards becuase to often while making our cards we get lost in the flowers, stickles and ribbon, and you all know how I am about ribbon :)
So here they are, now come out to the Scrapbook Shoppe in Columbus and sign up for the class before the 17th of January at 10:30 am, and let's get our New Year started off right.
